The Producers

Collin Raye

Tickets are on sale now to see Collin Raye on December 6th at the Freedom Hall Civic Center Arena in Johnson City. One of the true hit makers of the 1990s, Raye continues to crank out soulful, heartfelt material that was key to his 24 top ten records, 16 #1 hits, and having been a 10 time male vocalist of the year nominee. Tickets are being sold through the Kingsport and Johnson City, TN Firefighters Associations, with the funds providing smoke detectors for families, helping fund the Community Fire Relief Fund for victims of fire, providing funding for the Children’s Fire Safety program and continued education and specialized training for firefighters. Christmas Connection

The Christmas Connection is celebrating 40 years of bringing some of the region’s best arts and crafts vendors to Kingsport, November 1st through the 3rd. Joining the celebration, talented local musical groups will provide live music from the stage, to serenade customers as they shop. CREATIVE CANVAS CLASS!

Creative Canvas Class – Fall Theme is coming up Tuesday October 22 at 2 pm at the Bristol Public Library . It’s fall which means the library is getting into the spirit with a brand new canvas class! . During this class, registered participants will have the opportunity to create a fall-themed canvas-no painting experience required! This canvas class will cost $5 per person, but it will include all paint, supplies, and instruction. Registration is required. Coming soon, it’s the Holiday Farmers Market at the Abingdon Market Pavilion. It takes place November 2 through December 21st. Community Jam Session

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol will hold their monthly Community Jam Session from 2 – 5 p.m. this Saturday. The jam is open to all ages and all skill levels. Musicians are asked to bring their own acoustic instrument and the sessions will be held in the museum’s Learning Center. Donnie and the Dry Heavers

40th Annual Halloween Haunts & Happenings

The 40th Annual Halloween Haunts & Happenings event in Downtown Jonesborough will take place Friday, October 25 from 6-9 pm with fun activities and games for all ages will also be ongoing including barnyard train rides, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, music by the Jonesborough Novelty band, a haunted house and more.
