Dec 12 SWVACC Offering Canning Class

The Southwest Virginia Cultural Center & Marketplace is working to help canning make a comeback. Canning was done for millenia as a way to preserve the harvest but today it’s fallen by the wayside. On Dec. 12 the Let’s Jam Canning Series turns to sauerkraut with a class from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Cost is $15 and the best part is you get to keep what you can.
