Symphony of the Mountains…

Verdi’s Messa da Requiem combines the theatrical flair of virtuoso singers with the symphonic weight of the orchestra for an exhilarating performance!
Soloists: Jennifer Barnett, Mary Gayle Greene, Wesley Morgan, and Zack Rabin.

Jonesborough Mythbusting Tour…

Later today, a new event will put Jonesborough’s history to the test. Jonesborough’s Mythbusting Tour will debut, of course,on April Fools’ Day and be offered at various other times throughout the year. This unique tour will not be available every week, so make sure you catch it when it’s here! Jonesborough is the Oldest Town in Tennessee and the Storytelling Capitol of the World. Come along and find out!

Thirsty Orange Brew Extravaganza

Craft Beer Connoisseurs will take over Johnson City next weekend for the Thirsty Orange Brew Extravaganza. Home and professional brewers will bring their best and most interesting brews for sampling on April 8th in Founders Park – the fun starts at 1 for those holding “first pour” tickets – try to get those while they last. Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt Planned

Memorial Park Commmunity Center will host a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday April 13. The fun starts with games and activities at 6:30 pm with the hunt scheduled for 8 pm. Children ages 3-12 are invited to participate. The event is free but you are asked to bring your own flashlight as those won’t be provided.

Easter Eggstravaganza at the Mall

The Mall at Johnson City is hosting a basket full of Easter Events starting tomorrow. The Easter Eggstravaganza with the Bunny kicks off the month at 10am Saturday. There will be an egg hunt throughout the entire mall for kids 12 and under. April 3rd through the 10th from 6-8 pm Pet Photo Night with the Easter Bunny will also be at the Mall at Johnson City. Domestic pets only!

ETSU Presents Charlotte’s Web

East Tennessee State University’s Division of Theatre and Dance will present Charlotte’s Web Sunday April 9 at 2 and 7 pm, Monday through Wednesday, the 10th through the 12th at 10 am and Thursday, April 13 at 7 pm. Diversity of Dance

The annual Festival of the Arts at Southwest Virginia Community College in Richlands will shine the spotlight on “The Diversity of Dance: Its Styles, Rhythms and Music.” The festival kicks off with a concert then fully blooms with different events running April 21st through the 30th, including a mix of concerts, displays and tours across the region plus dramatic events on the community college campus. Sista Otis in Town
