The Ice Rink at Bristol Motor Speedway will be up and available for skaters through January 13th. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned skating pro Bristol Motor Speedway invites you to load up the family and join them on the ice. It’s the only ice skating rink within a 90-minute driving radius of Bristol, and it’s become one of the Speedway’s most popular off-track events. The rink draws more than 30,000 skaters each year. DAILEY & VINCENT APPEAR IN BRISTOL!

Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent will perform Jan. 4 at the Paramount Center for the Arts. Tickets range between $27 and $45, plus taxes. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show time is 7 p.m. Dailey and Vincent are Grand Ole Opry Members, Five-time Grammy award winners individually, three-time Grammy award nominees collectively, four-time DOVE Award winners, and winners of 35 IBMA Awards altogether (including 3-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year Award winners and three time Vocal Group of the Year Award winners). With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father, and discover his true identity. Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help remember the true meaning of Christmas. After all, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Side Effects May Include…

Side Effects May Include… is a funny, poignant one-man show meant to raise awareness for Parkinson’s Disease and will take the stage at Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol on Tuesday, January 8 at 7 p.m. Presented by the Arts Alliance Mountain Empire as part of its speaker series, Side Effects May Include…is based on stand-up comedian Marc Jaffe’s real life experiences with his wife Karen, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2007.
