The 3rd Annual Johnson City Jazz Festival

The 3rd Annual Johnson City Jazz Festival is a 3-day celebration of live jazz music, featuring 8 stellar bands playing a variety of jazz styles, running Thursday, March 21st through Saturday the 23rd at the Carnegie Hotel. Thursday night is free and features four different bands including The Perkins Peterson Quintet and The Funky Truth. Ken Burns’ Country Music

On Sunday March 24, join East Tennessee PBS and Ken Burns and his Emmy-award winning creative team, for a sneak preview of the much-anticipated documentary Ken Burns’ Country Music. The Bristol Sessions is featured in the first episode of the series, which will air on PBS in September 2019. The evening, which will be held at The Paramount Bristol, will begin with an introduction by the creators, followed by a sneak preview of the film, and a Q&A session. The ETSU Student Government Association is excited to welcome Scotty McCreery and special guests Cam and Folk Soul Revival for the 2019 SGA Spring Concert on Friday, Apr 12th at 7 p.m. at the Freedom Hall Civic Center Arena in Johnson City.
